Empowering Style. The Celebrity Wishmaker Simonetta Lein Meets Blogger & Influencer Heidi Nazarudin

Being an influencer is a true responsibility, you have to know what you are talking about and you have to know it well. An influencer is a business person, often an entrepreneur, and the icon of self branding. I know this world very well and I immediately recognize those influencers that have these types of qualities. A true professional: Heidi Nazarudin, The Ambitionista.

Who are you and what is the name of your business?
Heidi Nazarudin and I am blogger at TheAmbitionista.com and also founder of a digitalagency called Marque Media .
What is your brand about?
My tagline is “Let’s Conquer The World In Style” which I feel says it all. I write and post about being a sophisticated working woman who runs a company – albeit one that loves fashion and beauty.
What is your mission?
My mission is to help conquer the world in style. By style I don;t mean just in the superficial sense of “looking fashionable”, I also mean with grace, kindness and generosity.
I met Simonetta while in NYC – we were both involved in the #BrickandPortalNYC influencer weekend. It was such a hectic weekend but it was such a blast because of the people involved. Simonetta was such a friendly and genuinely warm person to work with.
**I have to give a tremendous shout-out to Anjelika Kour, the boss lady entrepreneur head of Brick & Portal who organized the first chapter of “The Influencers’ Weekends” in New York. I had the pleasure of working with many amazing influencers and got to know Heidi well. Behind the scenes true influencers are a real blast, they are people with lots of knowledge, endearing qualities, and humility. I always say that truly great people are the most humble, as are Heidi and Anjelika. Lots of love to these two girl bosses.

Are you a Millennial? What do you think about Millennials?
Well I fall in the age group but I don’t think much about it. I think although a lot is being said about Millennials it will pass with time and then it would be about the next generation. Everyone experiences growing pains and issues dealing with adulthood. So now a lot of Millennials are transitioning into adulthood.
If you are here it means that you love fashion. Why?
Fashion for me is a way to be creative. I love putting things together that creates a visual communication. I also love the fact that with fashion, you can completely change how people behave towards you. I can dress casual and be incognito, or dress up in a power outfit and have heads turn. It’s a great feeling to be able to control what people’s impressions are with fashion.
**Here is my “Empowering Style” collection for Heidi, trendy and casual, yet suitable for a business and sophisticated woman.

**I love the total black with little sparkles on the sweater, very elegant and modern. Perfect for a lady boss.

**A feminine yet clean look, quite impactful but soft on the eye. Very cool dress indeed, transformable for multiple occasions, from an office situation, to a day out, to happy hour.

**This is the look of a girl boss. By the way, stripes are everything in fashion right now.
What cannot miss from your wardrobe?
Black culottes and black boots. They go with everything.
Your favorite pair of shoes and why?
My Tods black ankle boots – they are super stylish and yet are very walkable in. More and more, I tend to go for shoes that are both beautiful and wearable. I donated 4 pairs of Louboutin to a charity last year as I realized I never will wear them.

What is your style, and what you cannot stand in people, inside and out?
My style tends to be very polished – I don’t know how to do anything else. I wear all kinds of things but in the end I always look .. put together. It’s a blessing and a curse. I know for sure no one will ask me “Top 10 looks to wear to Coachella” for sure.
What is your fashion mantra?
Wear whatever you want and don’t worry about rules . I get tired when I see people make rules about who should wear what and what age you should stop wearing certain things. It all depends. If you want to wear hot pants and you have amazing legs, go for it. If you like red lips all the time, by all means. Do what makes you happy. Fashion is one of those things that you can pursue to your heart’s content and it harms no one so why not?
What is that magic word that speaks about you?
Hard work. That’s my magic word lol.
**I had no doubt about it.
What is a wish that you would commit to grant this year to someone paying it forward?
I am mentoring two other bloggers. So I guess that’s my own small way of paying it forward. I was lucky to be given a lot of help along the way and it’s my own small way of giving back.
**This shows your concrete action, those two bloggers are very lucky. Thank you again Heidi for being with us and for inspiring me to conquer the world in style.
As always, make your wishes come true.
