Empowering Style. The Celebrity Wishmaker Simonetta Lein Meets Millennial Traci Propst

Beautiful, young, and talented. Here we have my girl, Traci Propst with her new book Unapologetic; A Generation That Can’t Even.
Supporting her is very dear to me as she is trying to make a positive impact on my generation of Millennials and to help other generations get to know us better. Additionally, 5% of the book proceeds will go to support the ongoing work of The Wishwall Foundation. My woman hero of today is Traci Propst.
Who are you and what is the name of your business?
My name is Traci Propst and I am a published author. My current book is titled Unapologetic; A Generation That Can’t Even.

What is your brand about?
My brand as a writer and certified life coach is about empowering the Millennial generation and encouraging them to follow their dreams and be unapologetic about their decision to do so.
What is your mission?
My mission is to give people the mental and emotional tools they need in order to take control of their lives and grow in happiness and success.
Are you a Millennial? What do you think about Millennials?
I consider myself the epitome of a Millennial and I love it! As I wrote in my Millennial-based book, our generation definitely has its ups and downs (like any and all), but our perseverance to make a lasting change in the world is extremely admirable, to say the least. We want to make a positive impact on the world that will last for generations to come. We’re constantly learning from our past mistakes and striving to improve our technique for the future.
If you are here it means that you love fashion. Why?
I think fashion is a unique form of self-expression. It’s a way of representing who you are without words.

What cannot miss from your wardrobe?
Red lipstick and a fresh black leather jacket. I live in Los Angeles, so a leather jacket is a staple – year around.

Your favorite pair of shoes and why?
Boots! Ankle boots are IT for me, but I am a lover of all boots, for every season. Vince Camuto is one of my favorite boot designers. His designs are chic, yet affordable.
What is your style, and what you cannot stand in people, inside and out?
My style is actually pretty casual for LA, I love neutral colors and I don’t like to wear dresses often. My everyday go to look is a pair of Levi’s, semi-sheer blouse, boots and a leather. Usually either my jewelry or my shirt is the statement piece of my outfit.
What is your fashion mantra?
“Ready for anything” is my fashion and life MO! I like to dress so that I could literally go anywhere and not feel out of place. It’s definitely a specific style I’ve mastered between elegant and casual; integrating into different scenes while still being noticed for fashion statements.
What is that magic word that speaks about you?
Unapologetic. Without a doubt. Not only does this word represent the Millennial generation, but it resonates personally with me. Being unapologetic about who I am has been a huge factor in how my life has played out. Authenticity has been so important to my brand, my style, my business, and who I associate myself with. I pride myself on always presenting my true self to others. To me, it’s a much easier way of life than constantly having to put on an act, trying to be someone I am not.
What is a wish that you would commit to grant this year to someone paying it forward?
I would have to say: changing someone’s life by making them feel comfortable in their own skin and with their own decisions. Nothing is more liberating and life-changing!
** We can do this together. Please head to Traci’ s book and consider purchasing. As an added bonus, you will also support the cause of The Wishwall Foundation.
As always, make your wishes come true.
