Meena Khan Sings Mindfulness Into Movies

Thank you for considering my wish! I am Meena Khan and I am a natural multi-artist, author, and children’s rights advocate residing in Trinidad and Tobago. I am a CSA survivor and I battle c-spondylosis and social injustices every day. I am a singer/songwriter, however, the only art form I haven’t accomplished is playing a musical instrument due to a lack of opportunity.
My wish as a lyrical activist is to have 18 original thought-provoking songs featured in upcoming international movies. I have the right connections to accomplish this aim and will inspire local and regional artists to counteract the less-than-favorable musical culture that impacts us socially with a growing crime culture. Writing is my passion and I feel called to use my voice to incite mindfulness and motivation for social change. This wish will also change my life and the lives of my loved ones. With my abilities and connections, I am geared to surpass the achievements of Billy Ocean and Eddy Grant by 2027!

I have had several opportunities to be a staff songwriter at record labels in various countries that work with non-seasonal, international music. I have had to pass up on those offers as I wasn’t assured that the local copyright agency would work for me in those endeavors.
The Wishwal Foundation's assistance will eradicate that doubt and propel my desire to become the change that is needed. I remain hopeful in this opportunity which will allow me to fulfill my passion to be of service to humanity. I am ready to use my talent to create a better culture both locally and regionally.
