My wish is to help my 82-year-old grandma with her medication and check-ups. As a working student in the Philippines, healthcare isn't easily accessible for those with fewer means. The costs for medication, bills, regular check-ups, and doctor's fees are expensive. Despite working part-time for $2 per hour, I dedicate myself to an 8-hour class schedule, often feeling exhausted and sleep-deprived. Yet, my greatest comfort is returning home to my grandma. She relies solely on a meager pension of $40 per month, which barely covers the cost of check-ups, let alone medication. Grandma has been my pillar of strength since childhood, ensuring I never went hungry or felt deprived despite our financial hardships. Now, it's my turn to repay her kindness. My motivation isn't merely to repay a debt, but to reassure her that I'll always be there for her, no matter what.
