The well-being of our environment is the foundation of our society. When vital ecosystems become endangered, we drastically increase the risk of food insecurity, poverty, and supply chain disruptions. To alleviate these environmental and financial risks, Dream International in partnership with The Wishwall Foundation is implementing Nature-Based Solutions such as agroforestry and regenerative agriculture. By strategically planting trees alongside crops and livestock, agroforestry contributes to the livelihoods of local farmers while also balancing ecosystems and agricultural systems. An amazing aspect of agroforestry is its flexibility across different climates and landscapes. Best practices involve selecting native tree species like Musizi trees that benefit the local context, targeting different impacts based on the specific needs of the land—such as enhancing biodiversity, regenerating soils, preserving water sources, and preventing erosion.

Vulnerable communities, in particular, are disproportionately affected by climate change. Women happen to be one of those vulnerable groups. Even if they contribute extraordinarily to restoration initiatives, existing social norms and secondary treatment ensure they don’t get the benefits of their labor. Dream International in partnership with Wishwall Foundation, women have to undergo training and environmental education, covering long-term tree care, sustainable farming and foraging practices, and the basics of running a business of their own. It’s also an excellent opportunity for youth because they can start early and become experts much sooner than their previous generations. Thank you wish wall foundation for this unique opportunity.

And as Dream International in partnership with Wish wall Foundation we are empowering women through tree planting project, we have a unique perspective on the subject. From creating sustainable income to improving the standard of women in their communities, we have seen again and again how planting trees and empowering women naturally converges.

We are pleased to announce that through the generous support of WISHWALL FOUNDATION, the refurbishing of classroom desks for the pupils of Kigoma Primary School has been well accomplished. This is an ongoing endeavor in our effort to better the educational facilities and make sure that the students have a friendly learning environment. These refurbished desks shall provide more comfort and safety for pupils. Improving organization in the classroom, using the space inside the classroom. Enhance the learning experience of students as a whole. We would like to express our profound appreciation to WISHWALL FOUNDATION for standing with us in improving education for children in our community. Dream International in partnership with the wishwall foundation is implementing a Project to create green consciousness among school going children through a mind-set change by involving them in seedlings production and plantation. Environmental conservation is delivered as an experience that is deeply imprinted in each child’s mind rather than curriculum based. School Tree Planting projects help connect students to the benefits of trees and foster environmental stewardship.

When vital ecosystems become endangered, we drastically increase the risk of food insecurity, poverty, and supply chain disruptions. To alleviate these environmental and financial risks, Dream International in partnership with The Wishwall Foundation is implementing Nature-Based Solutions such as agroforestry and regenerative agriculture. By strategically planting trees alongside crops and livestock, agroforestry contributes to the livelihoods of local farmers while also balancing ecosystems and agricultural systems. An amazing aspect of agroforestry is its flexibility across different climates and landscapes. Best practices involve selecting native tree species like Musizi trees that benefit the local context, targeting different impacts based on the specific needs of the land—such as enhancing biodiversity, regenerating soils, preserving water sources, and preventing erosion.

Dream International in partnership with Wishwall foundation is extending the project planting for the restoration of landscapes in Rwenzori mountains. Forests are vital to our planet. Trees support the livelihoods of billions of people and animals worldwide . Successful agroforestry accomplishes more than just mitigating climate change and revitalizing the natural environment.It actively improves the livelihood of farmers by providing increased resilience for crop production, as well as generating opportunities for diversifying revenue streams. This project will work with Marginalised women, children in school, youth, people with disabilities, Indigenous Peoples. These are the groups society forgets, but they are amazing agents of change in the fight against the climate crisis

We’re thrilled to announce the official progression of our Sustainable school Garden Project at Green valley primary school nansana ! On the 1st of October we kicked off our journey to transform the small school space into a thriving garden, promoting sustainable agriculture , making availability of nutritious foods and reducing plastic waste. Our team trained 20 students and 10 community members in: Vertical gardening using recycled plastic waste, Sustainable agriculture practices and Environmental conservation. ⁠Nurturing For Future Development Organization-Uganda is indebted to the Wishwall Foundation for their visionary funding .
