This is a story of survival, growth, and accomplishments; it's name is Jason Rodamer. Jason was a normal hardworking guy living in Bakersfield, CA. Â when one tragic evening that all changed. A drunken driver ran a stop signal and hit him while riding his motorcycle.

The tragic accident left Jason paralyzed from the chest down. It's completely changed his life and those around him. Being an independent person Jason has looked and tried new ways to be more independent from those around him. During his research he discovered a working service dog might be his best opportunity to gain some of his independence back. In his research Jason stumbled across my video https://youtu.be/HNM7ummW0zk
From there he contacted me and we started discussing dogs, their skills, the future of the dogs and then I was informed he was looking for a service dog. I also learned of the situation that has Jason in his present state. Knowing that a service dog would change his life, for the better. We immediately began to devise a plan of action to get him lined up with such a dog. With myself being a dog trainer and occasional breeder of working dogs I knew there was a possibility of great potential here. After a few weeks and many discussions we were able to put Jason & Echo together for just such an opportunity. With Echo & Jason working hard to fulfill his needs the future has no boundaries for were their relationship can grow!!
