A Skills Centre for Nabweru's Youth

"We wish to give every young person in Nabweru a skill, a source of income, and a future they build with their own hands."
The story: In Nabweru, Wakiso, talented young people, especially girls and young mothers, have the drive but not the tools. Since 2022, Nabweru Community Initiative for Youth Empowerment (NCIYE) has trained youth in tailoring, carpentry, hairdressing, fashion design, ICT, and makeup artistry. Demand has outgrown our space and equipment.
The wish: A fully equipped community vocational skills centre with sewing machines, carpentry tools, salon equipment, and computers, so more youth can learn, earn, and lead.

Girls and women gaining independence
Families lifted from poverty
A ripple effect through the whole community
