How I Value Life

Date Published: 8/28/2024

How I Value (HIV) Life, WWW.HIVLIFE, is frustrated with the current state of HIV/AIDS today. We want to see a change, but we need YOUR help.

This site is used for our internship program that our organization hosts every summer. We aim to empower and educate the younger generation on global issues surrounding HIV. Our goal from this program is to inspire our interns to go out and create change, to become our next doctors, nurses, and advocates.

Our wish is to get funding for our internship program so that we are able to continue to educate the next generation.

“Not only did my internship help to educate others but it was also very educational to myself. Coming into the internship I knew very little to nothing about HIV/AIDS and the way it affects people both physically and mentally. In order to create informative videos it was important that I first researched the topics such as homelessness and mental health surrounding HIV. For this reason, I was able to first teach myself about HIV before passing my knowledge to others in a fun and unique way. This allowed me to expand my knowledge of the pandemic and the way it affects peoples lives. Becoming an intern for Until has helped open my eyes to the world of HIV and what life is like living with HIV in order to better understand the stigma that those people face.” -UNTIL Intern, 2019
