United in Pride

It's June, which means it's Pride Month. In L.A., the Pride parade transformed into #ResistMarch this year. Thousands of Angelenos hit the streets in solidarity. All of the signs and rainbow flags filled the air with joy and showed us that we are still united in this fight for equality. The event's spokesperson echoed that message by saying "the rainbow flag is here for anybody who has felt discriminated for being themselves."

At We Take Note we are all about people joining forces with others to spread peace, love, and understanding.

Our wish for this week is to take things a step further; we want to do more than simply attend marches. We would love to ignite conversations with event attendees, organizers and supporters. We want kind-hearted people like you to exchange numbers and set up lunch dates. Maybe even try and get personal and have enlightened conversations.

If you are more of an introvert exchange social media accounts and follow various LGBTQ- affiliated accounts. We have so much to learn about people who may have a different sexual orientation, religion, or ethnicity than us. The amazing thing is that there are plenty of ways to learn.

I hope you all have a spectacular Pride Month.

Peace and Love,

Andrew of We Take Note for The Wishwall
