Three quick tips to help you with summer goals:
1. Have accountability
Get your friends and family involved! Research shows that our health habits are reflective of our social circles. Tell those surrounding you of your goals. Invite them to support you or join you in your journey to help you stay on track.
2. Make the healthy choice easier
Are there certain triggers that are avoidable? For example, if you are trying to not snack as much and you always walk past the vending machine, maybe try taking another route to avoid the temptation. Making the healthy choice the easy choice is the key to success.
3. Be easier on yourself
Forming a healthy habit takes time. It can be difficult when you first decide to make a change. Don't be mad at yourself if you encounter hiccups along the way. Try your best and don't give up.
