FE: Greater Good POV
Date Published: 9/17/2020
Hello readers and friends, I hope you are finding time to take care of daily business and to stay inspired. Know that we are thinking of you and wishing for the best as we are #AloneTogether. This week we will continue our look at brand trends for 2020-2021 with a global POV.
I have been working with a global culinary client on their sustainability campaigns for the last month, and we are not the only ones.
Sustainable Branding Plans
Greta Thunberg is certainly one of the most recognizable environmental activists today. We honored her on The Wishwall to celebrate women and the greater good. ICYMI: https://thewishwallfoundation.org/desideri/future-entrepreneurs-greater-good
Did you know? Studies show that 88% of consumers believe companies can influence societal change*. Therefore, they should lead the way in addressing environmental issues by providing more sustainable products.
Consumers are now more aware of their options and more conscious about what they purchase. Results show that we’re opting for more sustainable brands whenever we can. In fact, according to the Global Web Index 2018, 58% of Gen Zers, 61% of Millennials, 55% of Gen Xers, and 46% of Baby Boomer consumers will pay more for eco-friendly products**.
When it all comes together, brands are paying attention. Many brands are implementing sustainable operational practices as well as ethical business processes to meet the clean label demands and to gain customer trust.
