A Brighter Future for Vulnerable Children in Uganda

My name is Otim Moses Augustine, and I lead Hope Again Nursery and Primary School in Uganda, an institution committed to bringing affordable, quality education to over 200 vulnerable children. Every day, I see the spark of hope in each child’s eyes, and it reminds me of why this work is so important. We strive to be a place where children from disadvantaged backgrounds, including orphans and children with disabilities, can learn, grow, and imagine a future that transcends the challenges they face.
My wish is for resources to build a stronger foundation for these children – to construct two new classrooms, an administration block, and provide desks and interactive learning tools. With these resources, we can create a nurturing environment that supports not only academic growth but also social and emotional well-being. My greatest hope is that, through education, these children find their voices and discover their own paths to success.
I believe that education is one of the greatest gifts we can give to a child, and I dream of seeing our school equipped to reach even more children in need. I know that with a bit of support, this dream can come true, not just for myself but for every child who walks through our doors. It is my deepest wish that these children can one day pay forward the kindness and generosity that helped them reach their full potential.
