Powers of Nature

“In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt.â€- Margaret Atwood, author of The Handmaid's Tale
Happy Earth Day, week and month, readers!
Hopefully you have had a chance to get outside for a walk, home gardening or your preferred variety of spring cleaning.
Most of our readers are still practicing #Stayathome for COVID-19 to flatten the curve before we rush to reopen our cities. We hope you’re staying safe, taking time for self-care and finding ways to spark creativity! (ICYMI, here are some best practices https://thewishwallfoundation.org/desideri/fe-time-to-refine ).
I’m focused on writing and fitness goals and am making plans for my next book and travel adventures.
I find it fairly easy to ease back into low key mode. How about you? Finding it difficult or easy during these times?
I’m using the energy and focus I gleaned that time I moved to Hawaii’s Big Island for writing, adventure and rejuvenation! I lived in the rainforest for 4 months and made the mile trek down to mingle with maverick horses, harvest taro and swim in crystal waters. Most of those days I smelled like dirt. I also had more than 1 brush with death and the powers of nature! Listen in as I talk more about it:

The photo above is like a breath of fresh air and all the colors of the rainbow in play (#nofilter image from my side yard in the rainforest, overlooking a Waipio Valley and black sand beach, where the Pacific meets a mountain stream).
I also want to give a shoutout to Aveda, a company I grew up with in Minnesota that has done a great job in caring for our world and wellness: https://www.aveda.com/living-aveda/environment
Thank you to Beck and the Wish Juice team for a kind delivery of organic juice! I’ve been sharing with my neighbors (from a safe distance) and the gratitude is pouring in. (More on my Instagram stories and with news to come…) They use only USDA Organic raw materials to produce the juices: https://juicewish.com/pages/about-us
Tune in next week when we celebrate another Future Entrepreneurs anniversary!
Thanks for reading. Take care. We welcome your comments below.
