I have a dream of bringing 40 Day Writer Reality TV to life, where 40 writers compete over 40 days to finish, polish, and pitch their books to publishers who compete, Shark Tank style, for the rights to publish those works. 80-90% of Americans believe they have a book in them, but most have no idea what it will take to get that book out of their heads and onto the shelves of bookstores where it can be shared with others.
I want to show them the process of book publishing from concept to completion to give them realistic expectations and to show them how to find the story within them that they can share with the world that will help to transform it.
I believe that we can write the world a better place, and it all begins with teaching people how to share their story with others - because once you know someone's story, it becomes so difficult to hate them. You see too much of yourself in them.
