I have a simple wish—not for luxury, not for riches, but for a chance to build a better life for my daughter and myself.
I am a single father raising my beautiful **7-year-old daughter**, and every day in Uganda feels like a battle. I wake up carrying the responsibility of providing food, shelter, education, and a safe future for a child who depends on me.
Sometimes, I have to choose between things that should never have to compete—food, rent, healthcare, or my daughter's basic needs. The hardest part is watching your child grow up knowing you want to give them everything, but your circumstances keep saying, *“You can't.”*
I dream of **living and working in Canada legally**, not because I believe life there will be easy, but because I believe it could give me an opportunity to work hard, earn a decent living, secure a safe home, and give my daughter opportunities that I struggle to provide today.
I am not asking anyone to simply give me a life. **I am asking for a chance to work for one.**
I am ready to work, learn, adapt, and start from wherever I am given the opportunity. I am willing to take honest work and build my way up. My greatest motivation is my daughter. I want her to grow up knowing that her father never gave up on her future.
My greatest wish is to one day look back at these difficult years and say:
