CROCHETING DREAMS, WEAVING BRIGHER FUTURES

Date Published:

Kibwa Women Self-Help Group has launched “Crocheting Dreams: Weaving Brighter Futures,” a project aimed at empowering 200 women and young mothers in Wakiso District, Uganda.

Through the project, participants are learning practical crocheting skills, including how to make handmade shoes and bags, as well as entrepreneurship, marketing, customer care, and income-management skills.

The project is supported and funded by The WishWall Foundation, with the goal of helping women gain practical skills, create income opportunities, become more self-reliant, and better support their families.

Kibwa Women Self-Help Group appreciates The WishWall Foundation, Miss Simonetta Lien, trainers, partners, and local leaders for supporting this initiative.
