FE: Recalculating

“Nobody talks about entrepreneurship as a survival, but that’s exactly what it is and what nurtures creative thinking. Running that first shop taught me business is not financial science; it’s about trading: buying and selling.” ~Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop

We have spent the last few weeks recalibrating, aligning with black lives that matter and lifting each other up. This week I wish to continue all of the above and to share perspective.

Yes, business is a journey so when the current crisis is over, having a transition strategy that moves you forward is essential. Even if it's just going back to the same business model as before.

Likewise, strengthening new and existing relationships is vital, because on the other side of this, consumers and partners are going to remember who was there for them.

Last year I was speaking at the Dublin Writers' Conference, previewing #Davantithriller and doing a reading of #ShineThroughtheNoise #SparkCreativity. This year I am recovering from foot surgery, and can't walk yet. I am recalculating to slow down and heal, exercise, connect with friends and clients and to continue our quest with entrepreneurs.
