Creativity is the natural order & energy of life. #SparkCreativity in branding & business

The week much of the news is about returning to where we were in April, a cycle stuck with no progress.

Take a little time this week to think about what you feel good about. What have you started? What do you feel encouraged by?

It doesn't always need to be what you have accomplished. That an feel like pressure. We want to relieve pressure to get back into a flow of creativity and energy.

I believe in science and the medical experts who are sharing ideas of how holidays can be celebrated safely to see more healthy progress as a country.

This can help release disappointment with hearing bad news and numbers that drain energy.

I wish to share a few ideas on tapping into creative flow.

A couple places to start:

1. Sink into the moment to help you rise above it.

How much time do you spend multi-tasking? Does it help you get more things finished?

Give yourself a break and turn off the news. Create time to fully focus on an activity that inspires you. It could be something you want to learn or create. Choose a task that brings present and future rewards. A new project or old hobby, perhaps? We're so busy doing our grind, sometimes the things we love to do most are pushed aside. These activities are the gateway to the flow state. Make time to enjoy something you love, even if it's only for a little while each day.

2. Find your ideal time

Are you an early riser? Night owl? Listen to your inner voice: You know the best time to engage in the task you’re passionate about. Deep focus and concentration takes energy. So find a time when you feel alert, energized, when you can become fully absorbed.

Voila, a beautiful mental break with a virtual vacay scene...and my own moment of creative flow that came together.
