A generator for my mobile clinic

Date Published: 10/09/2018

My name is Nadine SINGH a nurse practitioner in LEE county FL, I have always had a life long dream of helping the underserve getting quality healthcare.

This year my dream came true. I worked tirelessly saved all my money all on my own and bought a mobile clinic ...It’s a 1985 MAN bus bought in Sacramento Ca. Took 5 days to drive back to FLORIDA. Cut a long story short, I got license as a clinic and start going to the neighborhood that would normally not have access ...The look on their faces when I showed up was priceless, they were happy. They were happy to know someone care. I was treating blood pressure problems, diabetic screen, COPD.

The community was happy. 4 weeks ago my generator broke. 😂😂😂I have been so down and trying to put the best outside ...,I’ve asked many company to help but nothing so far. I don’t want cash . I just need a 13000 watt generator that I can go back to my communities and care for my families ....I work 3 days a week as a hospitalist and the other 3 providing care for those that don’t have access or can’t afford it. I have seen many people lost their limbs because they were not able to afford their insulin.

As a nurse practitioner I’m able to manage, diagnose, interpret, screen, educate, and provide a host of service to my families. I don’t know if you can help but I will certainly hope and wish that you could try. The holidays are back on us and I want to be able to take the bus back out.

I went to the mobile conference in Cleveland Ohio just this month 13-17 a new bus cost $380000. I know one day I will be able to get one of those newer bus. However, for now all I need is a generator and the opportunity to go back out in the community and serve.

Thank you
