My names are Prophet Michael Olatunji Johnson, I am 62years old, the Founder and General Overseer of the House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church, 7 Ogo Oluwa Street, Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria. A servant of the Most High Almighty God. I received the divine call to ministry from Almighty God and was ordained as a Prophet at Christ Apostolic Church in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria on September 5th, 2004. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church is a faith-based organization. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church was founded on Sunday, January 2nd 2000 as a non-governmental organization legally registered in the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Corporate Affairs Commission, on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 (Registration Number 181133 / Tax Identification Number 25199238). The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church is a full Gospel Church devoted to the revival of apostolic signs, Holy Ghost fireworks, miracles and the unlimited demonstration of the power of Almighty God to deliver to the uttermost. Absolute holiness within and without, as the greatest spiritual insecticide and prerequisite for heaven is openly taught. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church is a do-it yourself gospel church, where your hands are trained to wage war and your fingers to fight that leads to the Promised Land of remarkable and outstanding breakthroughs. The church is a spiritual ministry which expresses the diversity of the Body of Jesus Christ and where differences are encountered. The vision of the House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church is to lead people to have a vibrant relationship with Almighty God; fear of Almighty God and to spread the word of Almighty God and to win souls for Jesus Christ our saviour, without discrimination. All of the church’s doctrine is based on the Holy Bible. Having confidence in God's leading in ministry through prayer because without prayer nothing happens. The church is non-denominational.
The church has a long tradition of organizing several holy ceremonies and functions throughout years. It is also known for its ancient glory and the legends. Over the years, we have developed quite a reputation for not only being a religious haven, but also a strong community partner in times of need. Our building is available to local community groups, and we host activities such as yoga, Mother’s Day Out, coffee and chat meetings for area residents. Other community groups use our church building for the benefit of local people including those dedicated to health and well-being.

The past few months have been magical for all of us here at the House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church! We have been travelling all around the city of Lagos State delivering clothing, blanketing and food to the needy and less privileged children! But it is unfortunately not enough! On Wednesday, January 4th 2023 we delivered blankets and clothing to the Laggos Shelter and we were shocked to find out how many of the children there are living on the streets. We walked around distributing blankets and chatting to the kids. It was shocking! Some of the kids told us that they are lucky if they receive one meal a day. We realized and we could see the truth in that by their obviously malnourished bodies!" Your support may be vital in solving this problem and enabling the church to continue to provide a place where people can experience hope, confidence, courage, expectation, friendship and the embrace of a good God. We need your help to continue our work because every child deserves to have a loving human.
Recently, the church has experienced some financial hardship, leaving me in dire need of help. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church has not been doing very well for a long time after the COVID-19 pandemic crises. Building projects at the House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church have been stalled for some time, and I would be forever grateful if you could assist us. Our financial instability has reached a peak, and there is a great deal of burden on my shoulders. I am writing this letter to humbly request your financial assistance with a lot of great expectations in my heart that you will help us with the House of Brethren Gospel Christian church building projects. To make this dream a reality, we need to raise $10,000. This work is estimated to cost $10,000. To carry out the necessary work, we need $7,000, and we have already raised $3,000 through fundraising efforts. We need your help today because you possess all the characteristics of a reliable and trustworthy person: politeness, tenacity, courtesy, reliability, kindness, helpfulness, friendliness, independence, assistance, leniency, impartiality, and empathy.

“Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the LORD” HAGGAI 1:8. “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them, continually serving others is a form of expressing our faith in and to God” HEBREWS 6:10.

The old sanctuary could no longer accommodate us, so we decided to build a larger sanctuary because our church's membership has grown. You can add a 648 square meter building (1 plot of land) to the church area to teach and preach God's grace, kindness, goodness, and mercy with your support. The House of Brethren Gospel Christian Church needs financial support to add another building to its church because currently, members do not have a conducive environment where they can fellowship, and worship their God, a new building to accommodate a growing congregation. A few Sundays ago, as I sat on the lawn with our Sunday school youth group, teaching and preaching about God’s mercy and grace. The children were so enthusiastic, happy, and full of interest, laughing and singing. It certainly made me feel so proud of what we have achieved so far at our small little church here in Ipaja, Lagos. It was at that time, the rain came down, and I stopped and realized how much we needed to add new building to accommodate the consistently growing number of our congregation. With your help, you can certainly accomplish this because you are a humble, fair, considerate, conscientious, courageous, intelligent, disciplined, patient, ambitious, empathetic and persistent person.

Supporting and helping us build this extension, you will support the kids in such a big way! Being a devoted Christian yourself, I’m sure you will understand the importance of giving our children a proper grounding in our beliefs about Christ and the Lord. This is what our church’s major goal is! We want to teach children in the most effective way possible and help them develop into strong and honest Christian adults. As a result of this new church building, you will be able to provide a better care for these children. There will be no more interruptions or cancellations due to weather during the cold season. An indoor building with seats and proper facilities will mean so much to the children, you will make all the difference in the world, your difference will be so much more meaningful to the children and the congregation, the children will feel so much more wanted! As Jessica, a 12 year old girl from our youth group stated, the Sunday school I attend each week is something I look forward to every week. It gives me the opportunity to see all my friends, have fun, play, laugh, and learn about Jesus Christ all at once. The lessons that are taught are so exciting, delightful, wonderful, and I enjoy learning about Jesus Christ and all that he accomplished. He is my superhero! However, then there are some days when the weather is hazardous and our Sunday school gets canceled, and those days are our boring Sundays. ”Your gift today will help our church’s immediate needs and transform our church building from hopelessness to possibility and other crises to hope.

Our young people have been busy soliciting cash and item donations from friends, family, and community members, as well as holding special fundraising events such as car washes and bake sales like pies, pastries, cookies, cupcakes, fish fries, fries foods and donuts. We also sold different varieties of non-alcoholic beverages like iced tea, lemonade, fruit punch, hot chocolate, milkshake, fruit juice, grapefruits, pineapple juice, apple juice and orange juice to raise money during our fundraising events. These intrepid young entrepreneurs have raised $3,125.00 dollars, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts. Your vision is to change the world, make it a better place, and make a big difference. Because of your friendliness, companionability, virtue, honor, and commendable ability as well as your open mindedness and honesty, you can be the change you have been waiting to see in the world.
