“A Safe Home for a Disabled Survivor Mom Rebuilding After a Lifetime of Struggle

I am a disabled single mother of three children, one of whom has special needs. After surviving domestic abuse and a lifetime of struggle — including a traumatic brain injury, chronic illness, and years of financial control — I finally believed I had secured a safe home for us.
