We’ll pair inspiration from award-winning chefs with an exceptional gourmet event that benefits the Los Angeles community. The Beverly Hills Food & Wine Festival revealed that this year's event will feature the talents of master chef and chocolatier, Francois Payard. Renowned for his visionary pastry creations and bold command of all things chocolate, Chef Payard has forged a path that is as delectable as it is avant-garde. His edible creations range from the delicate and colorful macaron donut, which he originated, to his outrageous handmade chocolate eggs, each one an original masterpiece of decadent artistry.
Chef Payard will headline a who's-who list of Southern California's most notable celebrity chefs, along with Curtis Stone and Celestino Drago, each of them offering an inventive and palate-pleasing display of the freshest fare California has to offer.
While the Beverly Hills Food & Wine Festival has established itself as a world-class celebration of food and drinks nine years in a row, it has also become a pivotal source of support for the charitable causes that benefit from the proceeds of the event. This year, a portion of the money generated by ticket sales and sponsorship will be donated to Best Buddies: Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
As in recent years, The Beverly Hills Food & Wine Festival looks poised to set the bar as the platinum standard of posh food and wine festivals. Festival patrons will have the chance to truly relax and enjoy the wide variety of outstanding wines and spirits on hand, as well as a seemingly endless array of sweet and savory samplings. Guests can experience the culinary talents of today's hottest new chefs, sip the finest quality liquors and ales available, and relinquish their senses to a tasty tour de force that is full of fun and flavor.
