FE: Powers of color

“Color can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways.” ~Oscar Wilde

Color has spoken to us in many ways in 2020. As entrepreneurs we adapt to changing tides and plan for bright horizons. We covered the importance of staying grounded in your brand, aligned with the greater good—more than once—but this time as a tried-and-true trend: https://thewishwallfoundation.org/desideri/fe-greater-good-pov

We covered many shades of #BlackLivesMatter: https://thewishwallfoundation.org/tag/black-lives-matter

I hope our readers have been inspired and I wish you a bright holiday with all your favorite trimmings! It may be different this year…and more genuine since we’ve all gone through a pandemic together.

Some of my book and blog readers may remember that I named paint colors during an early part of my writing career. I found inspiration in travel and views from the water in different types of light. This year I have cut waaayyyy back on my travel to be safe and realistic and stop the spread of Covid-19 and care for our community.

I spent time looking back at travel photos for book, film and video inspiration. What photos inspired you? I’m grateful for work I had with private clients on wellness and culinary videos and media campaigns for North America and Europe—125 of them over a year! I’m planning to adapt my thriller series with streaming series and “confined thriller” variations to be viable in these times and to keep crews safe. More news shall ensue on that.

What did you do to pivot or recalibrate? Or write down 2 ideas of how you can and will adapt.

I’m enticed by the ways we’ll all shine through and slay in 2021! We’re aligned with the idea of shining through the noise and breaking through these grey days in color.

Pantone choose their 2021 colors as “Ultimate Gray” and “Illuminating” yellow. See how that comes into play: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/pantones-2021-colors-of-the-year-perfectly-sum-up-our-hopes-and-fears-for-the-near-future-2020-12-10
