Support meals and menstrual hygiene in bushenyi and Iganga Schools.

I wish starving was a choice and I wish menstrating and being hungry at the same time were two things a person would never experience at the same time. As a voluntary social worker, I have committed to fighting hunger in schools and improve menstrual hygiene amongst all menstruating age in girls and women. It's unfortunate that girls and boys in these remote schools have short days at school and for those that can afford porridge during lunch hours, they have a number of students skipping school to prepare this porridge. The most unfortunate is but is that they have to get back home where there is just a handful to share.
My humble wish is that if we would show love to these pale faces and hurtful tummies regardless of why they hurt, this would improve the childrens learning. I only stand right Infront of them and all they see is a genie but I believe this can be granted with the help of organisations like the Wishwall foundation.
