SheTailors: Empowering Vulnerable Women, One Stitch at a Time

The second cohort at WISC Oyam has begun their Straight Stitch Training Session their very first hands-on experience guiding fabric through a sewing machine.
For many of these widows, young mothers, school dropouts and refugees, this is more than a lesson. It’s the moment fear turns into focus. The moment hesitation becomes confidence. The moment a new chapter quietly begins one steady stitch at a time.
Today they practice straight lines. Tomorrow, they will create garments, sandals, reusable pads, table mats, hats and bags skills that open doors to dignity and income.
