I Saw This and Knew I Had to Act

When I learned about the challenges faced by Bula Village, I felt a deep pull to do something. This remote coastal community in Papua New Guinea is home to over 700 people who live without electricity, internet, or reliable communication. When the sun sets, the village is left in complete darkness—children cannot continue their studies or must do so under dim lantern light, youth lose opportunities to grow, and women with skills and ideas have no way to reach wider markets or build businesses.

My project is dedicated to changing this reality. We are raising funds to build a Community Learning & Empowerment Hub that will bring solar power, internet connectivity, learning resources, and practical skills training to Bula Village. This hub will open doors to education, entrepreneurship, and independence, especially for women and girls who are too often left behind.

I believe that when we see a need, we have a responsibility to respond. My wish is for others to join me in this mission—whether by sharing, supporting, or simply spreading awareness—so together we can bring lasting change to Bula Village.
