Use of the project to the school:
Plastic waste, particularly plastic bottles, pose a significant environmental threat, and schools lack innovative and sustainable solutions to manage waste and promote environmental education.
Most rural schools in rural areas of Uganda rent school premises with no enough space to create school gardens and children never get enough to eat and even the foods they eat are never nutritious , their families cannot afford adding vegetables and fruits to a hard earned meal, hence the plastic bottles garden can occupy a very small space and yet be able to provide a variety vegetables to the vulnerable children and teachers in the school
Solution: "Bottle to Garden" aims to transform plastic bottles into sustainable school gardens, promoting environmental stewardship, education, and community engagement.

- Create sustainable school gardens using plastic bottles
- Provide environmental education and workshops for students and teachers
- Foster community engagement and ownership of the project

Expected Outcomes:

- Reduced plastic waste in schools and the community
- Increased environmental awareness and education
- Creation of sustainable school gardens promoting biodiversity and ecosystem services
- Enhanced community engagement and ownership of environmental projects
