Hello. My name is Tatyana. I’ve been dreaming of my own home all my life. I grew up and live in a small village far from the city. I’m studying to become a doctor, and for many years I’ve been going to university every day. Since there’s no public transport in my village, I have to walk 5 kilometers every day to the nearest bus stop so I can get to the city and the university. My life goal is to study and develop so that I can save thousands of lives. I want to become an oncologist so I can save people. My grandmother died from cancer, and I want as few people as possible to have to face that. I can’t afford to buy or rent an apartment in the city. My salary as a nurse is only enough for transportation, food, and new jeans once every six months. I would buy an apartment near the university. That would allow me to attend all the extra classes on oncology, all the conferences. So that I could learn as much as possible and gain a lot of knowledge. Right now, I can’t do all of this because otherwise I wouldn’t make it to the last bus. A lot of energy and time is spent on getting home. And I could spend this resource on development and study.
