I am an English ex-pat living in rural Thailand. Nong Hong, to be precise and recently broke my hip. The Thai local people have been most concerned for my ongoing welfare and have been of immense help to my Thai wife. I wish to thank the local community for their concerns. I am able to do this. on a premature level. I have bought 13 Rai of farmland which I have registered in my Thai wife's name, as foreigners are not allowed to own land in Thailand, and had it divided into 13 individual 1 Rai plots (1 Rai is equal to approx 1/2 an Acre)
This will allow 13 families in Nong Hong to become self sufficient in food production. Be it papaya, coconuts, rice or animal products should they wish. Whatever they want.
I have fallen short, not in my conviction, but in hard cash to finish the project.
I need to raise $20,000 US Dollars to finish the project, To supply 13 self contained living accommodations, 1 for each Rai of land. It is imperative that the potential farmers have shelter when needed from constant rain in the rainy season. Please help me to achieve this for the people of Nong Hong. I, and they will be so grateful.
