A Path to Dignified Reintegration

This project responds to the pressing need to address the challenges faced by special abilities intellectual challenge adults, unwanted souls in our society, such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, down syndrome, hearing impairment and speech disorders experiencing being treated violently or sexually harassed neglected, or abandoned whose cries go unheard.

These individuals often struggle to reintegrate into society due to stigma, lack of opportunities, and limited support networks.

This project aims to empower them by providing skills training, mentorship, and a pathway to self-sufficiency through craft and at the same time, bringing back the unwanted soul return into the dignity of life of our society.

This project will be implemented across Sarawak through a decentralized approach, leveraging partnerships with local community organizations, shelters, 48 community-based rehabilitation centres, and government agencies such as the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development. Craft workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs will be conducted in Kuching and initially, courtesy visits virtual for various districts and rural areas, ensuring accessibility and inclusion for participants from diverse backgrounds.

This project aims to empower the unwanted souls in Sarawak through craft-based skills training, mentorship, and community engagement, ultimately fostering their social integration, economic empowerment, self-esteem and at the same time therapeutic healing.
