MakeMyOwn SimpleHome

For a long time, I’ve been a guest in other people’s stories. I’ve lived in spaces that weren't mine, under rules I didn't set, and in neighborhoods where I couldn't stay. Today, I’m starting a new chapter: I’m building a home that is finally, truly, mine.
We live in a world where "home" feels like a moving target. I’ve worked hard, saved every penny, and kept the dream alive, but the bridge between renting a room and owning a door is a gap I can’t cross alone.
"As someone who has always been the one to help others move, it’s humbling to realize I’m the one who needs a hand to get across the finish line."
I’m not looking for a mansion. I’m looking for stability. I’m looking for a place where I can:
Finally put down roots and contribute to a community long-term.
Have the security of knowing I won't be forced to move by a landlord's whim.
Plant a garden that I’ll actually see grow.
Create a lifetime peace of mind.
I am raising a US$5,000 to help with the construction, materials and other expenses for a home. I am grateful if more donations would come for other expenses like utilities.
I’ve always taken pride in my independence, so asking for help like this isn't easy. But I’ve realized that a home isn't just built by the person living in it—it’s built by the community that believes in them.
By donating, you aren’t just giving me a place to sleep. You’re giving me a place to wake up with peace of mind. You are helping me secure my future, and I promise to pay that kindness forward every chance I get. If there any excess amount until I finished my home, I promise I will give it to our church and share your blessings.
Thank you for being part of my foundation.
God Bless Everyone
