Transforming Lives in Labiley with Clean Water Filters
Date Published:
Labiley, nestled in the heart of Balambala, Garissa County, faces the relentless grip of water scarcity, entwined with a precarious dance with waterborne diseases. Nurture Horn Afric Foundation (NHA) is determined to change this narrative, aspiring to deliver the life-changing magic of clean water to Labiley Village. Our wish is simple yet profound: to provide water filters to 100 families in Labiley, ensuring they have a source of safe and clean water at their fingertips. Currently burdened by water scarcity, Labiley experiences health crises that hinder educational and economic progress. Women and children spend hours fetching water from distant sources, leaving scant time for education. Waterborne diseases cast a long shadow over the community, affecting the most vulnerable. With support, we seek to empower Labiley to take control of their water quality, enhancing health and alleviating the daily struggle for water, especially for women, young girls, and children. Clean water at home means more time for education and better health. Join us in turning Labiley's water story from scarcity to sustainability.
