Clean Water For All

My name is Zachery Onyango, Founder and CEO of Development Alert-https://da.or.ug- a community based nonprofit organization operating in the rural areas of Tororo District in Eastern Uganda. Currently two communities in Tororo District in Uganda are in a dire need of safe drinking water ever since the two community boreholes broke down. People ride and walk miles to get access to clean water while others are resort to drinking contaminated water from open water wells. People spend over 10 hours just to get a 20 Litres container of clean water.
This has made life so hard for the already poor and vulnerable communities. As a compassionate and caring personal, you will agree with me that no one should lack access to clean and safe. But right now, two communities find themselves in a huge dilemma as they have to live with lack of clean and safe water.
Our wish is therefore, to raise $2000 to repair the two broken Community Borehole Boreholes so as the two communities regain access to clean and safe water, reduce bodily harm of carrying heavy containers for long distance, reduce waterborne related diseases, reduce time spent to get clean water, increased school attendance by children and increased Productivity in community.
