Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a lot of courage, because asking for help isn’t easy for me.

My mom is dealing with an illness, and despite everything, she keeps working and doing her best to support us. We’re trying to survive day by day, but our debts keep growing.

I’m also struggling with mental health challenges that make it hard for me to work like a typical person, which makes our situation even more difficult.

We’re not asking for anything extra — just a chance to get out of debt and start over, to breathe a little without constant financial stress.

If anyone is able to help, even a small amount can truly make a difference for us.

She-Digitizes Advances Digital Empowerment for 150 Women and Girls in Oyam Oyam, Uganda – March 2026 The Network Girl Tech Initiative Uganda, with generous support from Simonetta Lein and The Wishwall Foundation, is proud to announce that all equipment for the She-Digitizes: Empowering Women with Technology initiative has been successfully purchased, with installation now underway at the Wishwall Digital Hub. This 8-month initiative will train 100 women (absolute beginners) and 50 school girls in practical, income-generating digital skills — from brand design and Google tools to AI productivity and virtual assistance. She-Digitizes is more than computer training. It is about confidence, economic independence, and connecting rural women and girls in Oyam to global digital opportunities. Through our weekly Impact Wednesday updates, supporters will follow the journey in real time — celebrating milestones, progress, and transformation. Through the generous support of the amazing @SimonettaLein and The Wishwall Foundation, we have today procured more materials for our #SheTailors Project, empowering women and girls in Uganda through tailoring skills. These new items — including a Purifaaya water purification system, tailoring shears, tailor’s chalk, needles, bobbins, and measuring tape — are going to support our ongoing women’s training sessions. An entire forest grew because of a wish granted!

The well-being of our environment is the foundation of our society. When vital ecosystems become endangered, we drastically increase the risk of food insecurity, poverty, and supply chain disruptions. To alleviate these environmental and financial risks, Dream International in partnership with The Wishwall Foundation is implementing Nature-Based Solutions such as agroforestry and regenerative agriculture. By strategically planting trees alongside crops and livestock, agroforestry contributes to the livelihoods of local farmers while also balancing ecosystems and agricultural systems. An amazing aspect of agroforestry is its flexibility across different climates and landscapes. Best practices involve selecting native tree species like Musizi trees that benefit the local context, targeting different impacts based on the specific needs of the land—such as enhancing biodiversity, regenerating soils, preserving water sources, and preventing erosion.

Trees play a central role in our restoration efforts because of the vast array of benefits they provide. Beyond capturing carbon, trees are fundamental to creating healthy ecosystems and resilient communities. They regulate water supplies, prevent soil erosion, provide crucial habitats for wildlife, and generate economic opportunities to communities in need. In many ways, trees remain a cornerstone in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation, making them an irreplaceable part of restoring degraded landscapes. This project is Implemented by Dream International in Rwenzori Mountains in partnership with Wish wall Foundation

Among the students, Mary, a 10-year-old girl with dreams of becoming a teacher, expresses her joy at the changes. “It feels good to study in a nice place. Vulnerable communities, in particular, are disproportionately affected by climate change. Women happen to be one of those vulnerable groups. Even if they contribute extraordinarily to restoration initiatives, existing social norms and secondary treatment ensure they don’t get the benefits of their labor. Dream International in partnership with Wishwall Foundation, women have to undergo training and environmental education, covering long-term tree care, sustainable farming and foraging practices, and the basics of running a business of their own. It’s also an excellent opportunity for youth because they can start early and become experts much sooner than their previous generations. Thank you wish wall foundation for this unique opportunity.

We are pleased to announce that through the generous support of WISHWALL FOUNDATION, the refurbishing of classroom desks for the pupils of Kigoma Primary School has been well accomplished. This is an ongoing endeavor in our effort to better the educational facilities and make sure that the students have a friendly learning environment. These refurbished desks shall provide more comfort and safety for pupils. Improving organization in the classroom, using the space inside the classroom. Enhance the learning experience of students as a whole. Dream International in partnership with the wishwall foundation is implementing a Project to create green consciousness among school going children through a mind-set change by involving them in seedlings production and plantation. Environmental conservation is delivered as an experience that is deeply imprinted in each child’s mind rather than curriculum based. School Tree Planting projects help connect students to the benefits of trees and foster environmental stewardship.
