AN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION SYSTEM, A BETTER ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL

I grew up knowing what i wanted to study(music) but i could not because our education system does not have that as a professional study offer. I could move to other countries but financial constraints would not allow. I am a single mother of a 14 years old boy who sings like a 'pro' and wants to study music but still, our education system does not accommodate that and the bursaries offered to citizens to study in other countries do not include music as one of the sponsored courses. I registered a non-profit making organisation named DREAM DEVELOPERS HUB pty with the aim to enhance human capacity among women and youth through different programs such as skills share and mentorship, talent honing and management, career guidance and development and other programs. This was after a deep thought about how far our economy would grow if our education system did not neglect other areas of study/education such as FINE ARTS. a large number of our population is unemployed but are sitting with talents that can be honed to help them make a decent living out of. Honestly, not all of us were born to be doctors, accountants or teachers. Some people were simply born with a gift of singing, dancing, drawing, kneading and so on. Given support and proper recognition, these simple talents can add more to the country's economy than can be imagined. Tourism sector would benefit from growth in fine arts and trained beneficiaries would be able to create jobs for themselves and others leading to increase in GDP per Capita. Unemployment rate would decrease and generally, economic growth would be enjoyed. I wish I could get funding for this organisation to operate and achieve it goal of building an academy where proper training of beneficiaries in their different fields would be carried out. The aim is to help every citizen occupy their place and make their contribution in the economy without feeling left out or neglected by the very systems that govern us.
I wish my dream would be heard and come true.
