Keep Encouraging

Last week I went to the Women's March in Washington. After my trip to D.C. I wrote about how we as minorities and immigrants must support one another. I also wrote about the numerous subsections of women who came out to march for their own personal movements - one of those groups was Muslim women.

So when I heard of an impromptu march at Los Angeles International Airport to allow legal residents & green card holders back into the country, I felt every reason not to go: I didn't sleep the night before, it was a beautiful beach day in LA, it doesn't affect me directly, I had laundry and honestly it was just the perfect lazy Sunday. Then I remembered the wish I made.

My wish on this very Wishwall was to encourage others to support groups of people who may be different than ourselves. So I'm writing this now to show everyone that when you make a wish to yourself you can make those wishes come true. We may have to work for it but it is obtainable!

Peace and love,

Andrew
