Caring Hands for Ageing Hearts

Our wish is that more people would realise and act upon the plight of the vulnerable and aged in South Africa. EMUSENI CENTRE FOR THE AGED has had a huge impact on the lives of its 55 residents. Mrs Mofokeng, pictured below, is 92 years old and her house was literally taken away from her. She was left destitute and had we not been able to take her in and offer her accommodation and care, the alternative would have been unthinkable. However, our vision and mission is not just to provide lodgings and care for our present residents, but to also extend our services to the larger community in our area by offering home based care to those we cannot take in. The reason for our existence is to defend the poor and vulnerable in one of the many rural areas of South Africa. Please help us to help these often forgotten souls






and many vulnerable live in appalling conditions due to social exclusion and poverty.
