I really need your support...

Hello friends!

My name is Aleksandr Blinkin, I was born in Ukraine and immigrated to Israel almost eight years ago with my wife. As we began this new chapter of our lives in Israel, we faced many challenges that we overcame together only through hope, faith, hard work and perseverance. I clearly remember the day when we left the airport, it was lightly raining and breathing in the fresh morning air, a feeling appeared in my soul - “Here we are at home.”

Over the years, we have accumulated vast experience in various aspects of life and adapted to the new environment. 3 years ago I became ill, then suffered a tragic car accident and was left disabled, suffering from chronic pain, PTSD and panic attacks. At first I felt hopeless and depressed, but I pulled myself together and continued to move forward. In my experience, I lived through a bureaucratic nightmare, the struggle with national insurance and the negligence of officials. Then I really saw how difficult it is for people, especially new repatriates, to realize and protect their rights, and I decided to become a volunteer. In recent years, I have been involved in social activities, went into politics, because I clearly understood the need for reforms and participated in many social projects. The war in Ukraine was a shock for us, especially seeing the destroyed streets along which we often loved to walk, but quickly coming to our senses, I began to help people forced to leave their home. I was involved in collecting humanitarian aid, helping with evacuation, helping with paperwork and so on.

Over the years, there have been a lot of good and bad things along our path, but after these eight years, I can say with confidence that Israel is my home! But the evil of terrorism and war has come to our home and now our country is in danger.

We now live in the city of Bat Yam, my elderly mother, my wife who has the rare disease SMA and orthopedic disability, and me. Unfortunately, my health has deteriorated greatly and we are on the verge. If you have the opportunity, then I really ask you to help and support us in this difficult time, as we are in very poor straits. Every day we face the horror of rocket attacks over our home and are forced to be at home, unable to work and very much afraid for our lives.

Thank you very much in advance!
