A Special Needs School for Mental Health and Disabilities in Mombasa

My wish,
I envision a world where every child, regardless of their physical or mental disabilities, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment. During our recent visit to Moroto Slums in Mombasa, we encountered many children who have never attended school due to various disabilities, from physical challenges to mental health conditions. These children, often neglected by society, deserve the same chance at education and inclusion as anyone else.
It is my heartfelt wish to establish a special needs school that will serve as a safe haven for these children. A place where they can receive not only an education but also the care, therapy, and support they need to overcome their challenges. Through this initiative, I hope to give them the tools to lead independent and fulfilling lives, while also breaking the stigma surrounding disabilities in our community. Together, with the support of generous partners and donors, I believe we can create a brighter future for these children and ensure no one is left behind.
