The Sitio Bihawo Aeta tribe in Botolan, Zambales, Philippines now has better access to water.
With the building of a potable water pump funded by the Wishwall Foundation coordinated by the Smile Project Philippines. The health and sanitation of more than 200 families in the community can now improve. It will also give children more time to study and their parents can spend more time in their livelihood as the journey of more than 10 kilometers on foot is no longer a struggle they face to collect their water for their daily needs.
After several days of work, we were able to unveil the water pump to the people and the tribe chieftain thanked the WishWall Foundation and Simonetta Lein for their support and promises to make sure that this gift will benefit the people in the community and the generations coming.
