Pay Off Mortgage

First off, I want to say I hope this email brings you good faith, health and prosperity. My name is Stephanie Sandlin, I am 43 years old, and I live in a small town called Normangee, Texas with my husband of 18 years, my 22-year-old stepson, and our 2 young children who are 12 and 10 years old. These past few years have been turmoil and we have been through a rough patch that I do not know how to get out of. My father-in-law, may he RIP was our soul provider, he served many years in the army alongside his wife of 50 years. He got sick in the summer of 2022 and died suddenly in December of that year. Our hearts are still shattered to this day. He was an incredible man and provider for us all.
He was a 100 percent disabled army veteran. He served a few battles including desert storm. My husband and I took care of them, it was their wishes that family do the things needed instead of a nurse, and in return they took care of us. One day in 2019, they decided they wanted to provide our family with our own home and went out and purchased us a brand new clayton mobile home and placed it on their property. We have been living here ever since. But unfortunately, when he passed so did the income. My husband was in a work-related truck accident years back, he escaped death just mere minutes from his concrete truck catching fire. We still have the photos to remind us God was with him.
After this accident over time, he started to develop both mental and physical complications that make him not capable of working and providing for his family. He has been battling SSI for a while now to get the help that he needs. During this time, I have been trying to find a job so that I can make sure our family has a home, but it has been a struggle because we have no car. We don't live close enough to a business for me to walk. So, I have been trying to find a WFH (work from home) position but most of them are requiring a bachelor's degree or years of experience that I do not have. I'm still trying, struggling but trying. Back in August of 2023, I had MOHS surgery, removal of skin cancer, I battled with it for years before finally being able to seek insurance to help have it removed. My husband was in the hospital back in December of 2023 having surgery to clean out his wound from battling with a flesh-eating bacteria in his leg. He is healing now as so am I. We also have lost 5 family members in just 2 years alone. Basically just having a hard time lately that I am hoping one day we see the light. I am writing to you in hopes, high hopes of seeking help. See when my father-in-law passed away, the majority of the income went with him, and we are all struggling to keep our home.We are behind $6,500 and the lender, Vanderbilt is wanting to sue my Mother-in-law, and start the proceedings of repossession of our home. we have a short time to try and find this money so we don't lose our home and become homeless, we have nowhere to go if we do, my in law lives in a one-bedroom small home they built themselves years ago and my family of 5 and her cannot fit in there. One day I would love to be able to pay off our mortgage, It's around $82,000. I know that is so much but my dream is to own this home so that my children can live with no fear of knowing someone is around the corner ready to take away their only home they have ever known. I truly understand if you cannot help us and if you can, I would be forever in your debt and would truly be thankful. If you can't which I understand, would you be able to point us in the right direction to help us? I have tried with a few places but have received no help or even a message back. I am in desperate need and have no clue where to go or who to talk to. I thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this and I hope you have a blessed rest of your week.
Sincerely,
Stephanie Sandlin
