Urban Farming to Farming

My husband and I raised 5 kids in a beautiful town that I refer to as an "Upscale Mayberry." We rented a delapidated home because we could not afford to buy here but wanted our combined family to have stability in a great family based town. It unfortunately has come with living in a home that's falling apart. The landlord is not willing to fix it. We have made the best by finding happibess thru urban farming with preserving our own food as much as possible and having chickens. Who knew chickens could bring SO much joy?! I am a massage therapist by profession and yes, my chickens get massages too.

My wish is to have a small homestead to grow organic food and have (more) happy chickens living their life while producing organic eggs. I'd love to help others learn how to grow their own food. We need more people realizing that they are capable of growing their own food and becoming self reliant! And we can help others by freeze drying leftovers for future use or to help feed the homeless! I am passionate about food, preservation and helping people. My downfall is all monetary and past rare health issues with my heart & autoimmune that keep setting us back. So I am humbly asking for help and in return, I will pay it forward. Thank you so much!
