The reason cited by the mayor and social worker would be the older brother, 19, who is not employed. According to them, the young man has to work or get unemployed status if the family wants to continue to benefit from state aid.
IRINA TURCANU, Mother: „Stau home with children, this little one is two years old and the other one is three and a half years old, four will be in December. Kindergartens do not work, go to arrange at work, children remain without mastery home”.

Because of the bureaucracy, the Turcanu spouses cannot obtain social assistance, worth three thousand lei per month, for the four minor children. This is because the older son, who is 19 years old, is not employed and has no job status.
