Saving Jenny's life from Sickle cell disease
Date Published:
Hello Sirs
This is Mr Mok Lingomba and Mrs Mireille Voto, livng in Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
We have a 15-year-old daughter named Jenny who suffers from sickle cell disease or SS anemia. Since the age of 2, she has been suffering from episodes of pain, which come on suddenly and are often very intense. The location of the pain can vary, but most of it is in the joints, leg bones, arms and lower back.
So, to put an end to this ordeal for the child, we were advised an effective solution. This involved a bone marrow transplant in India. The operation costs $ 55,000. And we are unable to pay this sum. That's why we're asking for your help, to put an end to this cycle of repeated crises, save our daughter's life and increase her life expectancy.
May God bless you!
