"Imagine a café where you can sip a lavender latte inspired by your favorite K-drama, attend a BTS-themed fan meetup, or create a personal journal in a cozy corner surrounded by inspiring decor and soft, fun Kpop tunes. The Purple Corner Café is poised for growth in the café bar venue industry with the key three ingredients going for it: ambient location, unique theme, and a menu with a twist! We are seeking financial support to take this opportunity to introduce a “new and exciting” café, in the Southern California market. This destination themed business has the potential to dominate the market. Our vision includes making space for studying, relaxing and socializing while on our off-peak hours incorporating workshops, open-mics and cultural exchange events like, movie, tv or concert viewings, along with catering to private parties.
The Purple Corner Cafe’: is a “destination themed Café ” with a mix of hosting to a global destination for fans, creatives, and culture lovers and easy-going local dreamers; while maintaining and building partnerships with local artists, writers, and businesses to support the local economy, the community and service in Old Torrance. Nina Gibson is an author/screenwriter and occasional Writing Coach. She discovered writing when given her first diary at age eleven. She went on to pursue writing further by obtaining her master’s degree in English and Creative Writing from Loyola Marymount University. Her love for writing created a published novella, ‘The Sea of Dead Souls’ is available on Amazon.
Nina has worked over 20 years in retail management with brands, NIKE, Lucy Activewear and Cole Haan. She spent a few years out of the retail business in administration as the Executive Assistant for the head of UCLA Pediatrics Department.
