Need support for education
Date Published:
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Lavanya Munjam, an international student from India, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering at Iowa State University. I am writing to seek your urgent assistance regarding a serious issue that has jeopardized my education and future career prospects.
I was awarded the COE Scholarship amounting to 6 lakhs. However, despite being granted this scholarship, I have not received the funds. As a result, my tuition fees for the last two semesters have accumulated to 30 lakhs, creating a significant financial burden on me and my family.
Due to the unpaid and delayed tuition fees, I was unable to participate in a crucial internship that would have provided me with valuable experience and financial support. Now I have another job for next semester, but I won't be able to do it as I need to be enrolled in at least one class for the semester, which can't be done unless I pay off my outstanding balanceThis setback has not only impacted my academic progress but has also put my student visa at risk, as I may not be able to register for classes next semester. If I am not enrolled in school, I will be compelled to return to India, thereby invalidating my student visa.
I am reaching out to you with the hope that you can intervene and expedite the disbursement of my scholarship funds. Your prompt assistance in this matter will enable me to continue my education, gain the necessary experience through internships, and ultimately contribute to our society with the skills and knowledge I acquire.
Thank you very much for your attention and support.
Sincerely,
Lavanya Munjam
