Summary

Deva Health Services will bring life-saving healthcare directly to the most underserved villages where health workers are scarce, facilities are dilapidated, and the sick are too poor and too far to seek help. Conduct community medical outreaches delivering free treatment and screenings, provide maternal and child health clinics offering prenatal care and immunizations, Health education empowering families with knowledge to prevent disease, and Referrals and follow-ups for chronic conditions.

Challenge
In the remote villages of Tororo District, access to healthcare remains a daily struggle. Many communities lack basic medical facilities, and the nearest health centers are often hours away on foot. Preventable illnesses such as malaria, pneumonia, and complications in childbirth continue to claim lives unnecessarily. High Teenage pregnancies of 1 in 4 girls aged 15-19, high maternal and infant mortality rates of 189 per 100,000 live birth from preventable complications and shortage of medics.

Solution
Deva Health Services provides monthly Mobile Medical Clinics outreach to remote villages offering free diagnosis, treatment, and minor procedures, provide Antenatal care, safe delivery referrals, child immunizations, and postnatal follow-ups, Train and equip community health workers to offer ongoing health support and referrals and increase awareness and prevention of common diseases through health education outreach.

Long-Term Impact
The project will reach 20,000 people with essential healthcare services , 5,000 women and children will receive maternal-child health support, 50 community health workers will be trained serving in their villages, reduce incidence of preventable illnesses by at least 30% in targeted areas and strengthen community capacity for disease prevention and health advocacy
