Scholastic Materials for Vulnerable and Poor Children

Vulnerable Children from poor and rural households of Uganda face huge challenges to acquire education and this is because of the high levels of poverty in the communities that makes it so hard for the parents and guardians to support the children with scholastic materials (Books and Pens) and other basic needs.
It is so hard for children to realize their education dream because they are sent away from schools due to lack of writing materials and they can only go back to school after they have got the books and pens. They miss lessons and most times the children fail to report back school thus affecting their education. At times the children are made to do their exercise on the floor and teachers mark this however, makes it so hard for the children to do revision.
Most of the times the children use one book for several subjects, practice writing on the ground for teaches to mark, miss writing notes, copy notes later whenever they get the materials. It is a nightmare most children from poor household face throughout their education journey and therefore, requires a helping hand to make their education journey better if they are to stay in school.
We have so far supported over 600 school going children supplying 5920 Exercise Books and 3050. However, there is still so much to do!
Please kindly help us keep these innocent souls in schools by providing Books and Pens to enable them keep in school, acquire education and be able to change their household stories

1) 3 Dozens of Writing Books Per year USD 12
2) 1 Dozen of Pens/Pencils per year USD 8
Total Amounted need for 400 children per year: $8000
