Eradication of GBV and poverty by empowering girls and women through education, training and entrepreneurial skills

I am a member of Tuinue Children's Trust a young women founded and led organization working towards voicing girls and women's challenges in Kisumu and Nairobi-Kenya. We support children of diverse origin through provision of school support, basic needs and SRHR education to help them become self dependent in the future. Instead of providing one time food support alone, we spread our arms to help their families by giving them long-term solution to poverty and GBV through training their mothers and other women on technical skills that will of impact for their entire life. We believe in teaching the community on how to fish for this will last them and change the entire community. We are also working towards encouraging kitchen gardening through modern agriculture for food security in various households.
Our program also supports women to start and run their businesses for income generating to care for their daughters needs.
I wish this organization could expand and get more resources to help serve many more beneficiaries within our reach.
