I wish to expand Prosperity in the Hood Inc.’s youth and community programs so children and families in Brooklyn can access the nourishment, educational support, and safe enrichment spaces they deserve.
In our neighborhood, many children face food insecurity, academic gaps, and a lack of positive outlets. Prosperity in the Hood Inc. works every day to change that. Through our Nourishment for the Community Pantry, Education Matters tutoring, and Youth Enrichment & Creative Development programs, we provide stability, mentorship, and hope to families who are struggling. Every bag of groceries, every homework session, every art activity is a lifeline that helps a child feel seen, supported, and capable.
With help from The Wishwall Foundation, we can expand our pantry, strengthen our youth programs, and reach more children who need a safe place to learn, grow, and dream. This wish is not just about resources — it’s about giving kids the chance to thrive and inspiring our community to continue paying kindness forward.
